RELEASE: Congressman Mike Ezell Addresses Unfair Treatment of President Trump by Colorado State Supreme Court

[Pascagoula, MS] - Congressman Mike Ezell, representing the great state of Mississippi, expresses deep concern over the recent decision by the Colorado State Supreme Court to remove President Donald Trump from the 2024 ballot. This decision, in Congressman Ezell's view, raises questions about the principles of democracy and the right of citizens to choose their representatives.


In a statement released today, Congressman Ezell shared his thoughts on this matter, stating, "Colorado has taken President Trump off the ballot, and this is where democracy falls. It's time that we stand up and fight back. We can show that Mississippi has his back. We stand with Donald Trump over the woke left in Colorado."

Congressman Mike Ezell announced he is running for re-election in 2024. First elected in 2022, Ezell pulled in a whopping 73 percent of the votes. He then traded in his sheriff’s badge and uniform for a suit and tie with an American flag pin. He is serving on the Homeland Security Committee and Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. If re-elected, Ezell hopes to work with other congress members like Alabama Congressman Jerry Carl and Georgia Congressman Drew Ferguson, who both endorsed him. Ezell is excited for the opportunity to continue serving his constituents if he wins re-election. “It’s a wonderful thing to be a member of Congress. It’s a wonderful feeling to be able to work for the people and to serve the people.
